The Wenatchee Wild are home for a four game homestand that kicks off with a three-game set against the Penticton Vees this weekend. Thursday (6p) is Jersey Night. All fans wearing a hockey jersey can join the team on the ice for a postgame photo and can also enter to win a Wild jersey! Friday (7:05p) is ‘Merica Night, sponsored by Stetner Electric and 811 with Hard Hats and Lunchbags being given away. Saturday (6p) is “Guns N Hoses Night” sponsored by Starr Ranch. Free youth jerseys for the kids, loads of concourse activities, and special game worn jerseys will be live auctioned after the game.
Wenatchee (11-12-5, 7th place Interior Conf.) is led in scoring by Ean Somoza (7g, 22a) followed by Cade Littler (12g, 15a) and Owen Bohn (12g, 10a). Goaltender Tyler Shea (9-5-3, 2.74 GAA, .903 save pct.) gets the bulk of the work with support from Andy Vlaha.
PENTICTON: (Thu. at 6 pm, Fri. at 7:05 pm, Sat. at 6 pm) The Vees (22-6-2, 2nd Place, Interior Conf.) and Wild meet for the 26th time. The Wild are 10-11-4 all time against the Vees, and 7-4-1 at home. It’s the third, fourth, and fifth of six meetings this season, with the Vees taking the first two in Penticton. The Vees and Wild will meet one final time this season on March 23 in Wenatchee. Players to watch for the Vees include Luc Wilson (17g, 26a) and Josh Nadeau (23g, 18a). Goalie Kaeden Lane has a solid 16-1-1 record with a 1.91 GAA and .913 sv pct.

Next week the Wild host Cranbrook on Wednesday Feb. 2 (6p) in the only scheduled game of the week.
