On Wednesday, NHL Central Scouting released its midterm rankings and two Wenatchee Wild players were among those listed, along with 5 other BCHL players. The Wild players named include forward Cade Littler, and recently acquired forward Parker Murray who will make his Wild debut Saturday when the Wild host Penticton.

Cade Littler, in his rookie season with the Wild, has been an offensive threat throughout his development years, averaging better than a point per game, a pace he has managed to maintain through the first 21 games of the season. He grew much of his game at home, skating with the 16UAAA Wenatchee Wilderness for 72 games in the 2019-20 season.

Parker Murray, acquired via trade from the Oakville Blades of the OJHL is a big 6’5, 225 lb. forward playing in his first year of juniors. He worked his way up in the LA Jr. Kings program for four seasons and is a native of Manhattan Beach, CA. He led the Blades in goals with 14 in 30 games.

Wenatchee Head Coach Chris Clark said of Littler, “It is great to see Cade being recognized by Central Scouting ahead of this summer’s NHL Draft. He’s is a very passionate player who takes a ton of pride in getting better every day. His skill set combined with his hockey IQ certainly has made him a top prospect and go to player for us this season.” Regarding Murray, he added, “After having Parker here for a few days I can see why he would catch the eye of Central Scouting. He is a big strong young man and has an NHL quality shot. We look forward to working with him as he continues to work for his collegiate and NHL goals.”
