The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the BCHL, have made two separate player transactions this week.
The Wild have acquired veteran forward Nick Cherkowski from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for future considerations. Cherkowski is a native of Vernon, BC, and checks in at 6’2”, 175 lbs. He holds a Division I college commitment to Merrimack College beginning in fall of 2020. He played in 54 games for the Vipers last season and all three games so far this season.
To make room on the roster, the Wild have dealt the playing rights to forward Julien Mènes to the Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL) in exchange for future considerations. A native of suburban Montreal, Quebec, Mènes collected an assist in his four games with the Wild. The Wild wish him well as he moves on with his career.
