WILD ANNOUNCE PRESEASON SCHEDULE

The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) have scheduled four preseason games as they prepare to defend their Fred Page Cup title.

In keeping with established BCHL guidelines, all players may report to their teams and begin practice on Monday, August 20. After a week of practice, the first game tests come on Saturday and Sunday August 25-26 when the Wild face off against the Trail Smoke Eaters in the iFIBER Rink in a rematch of last year’s Interior Conference Final. Friday, Aug. 31 will see the Wild entertain the Penticton Vees, again in the iFIBER Rink. On Saturday Sept. 1, the Wild and Vees will trek north to Penticton for the final preseason tuneup for both clubs.

Tickets for the three preseason games at iFIBER Rink will be $10 for General Admission, and will be sold at the door only on the days of the games.

The regular season for Wenatchee begins on the road on Friday Sept 7 at Vernon, the first of eleven straight on the road to open the season, including a pair of games at the BCHL Showcase later in September.

The exciting Home Opener comes on Friday Oct. 12 against the Nanaimo Clippers. The evening will be highlighted by the raising of the Championship Banners and a ring ceremony for the players who were part of the 2017-18 Fred Page Cup and Doyle Cup Championships. The first 1,000 fans in the door will be given free cowbells courtesy of AG Supply.
