The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) have announced they will host their summer tryout camp later this month over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26. The camp will be conducted in the iFiber Rink adjacent to Town Toyota Center, is open to the public and free to attend. A complete schedule of game times will be posted on the teams official website once finalized.
Camp participants will be a mix of eligible returning players from the 2018-19 roster along with other invited players who will compete for the 23 total available roster spots. The players will be divided into teams and engage in a mix of scrimmage games, and will also battle in small area games which are designed to maximize competition and give players the opportunity to demonstrate their compete level in close quarters.
Camp activities are expected to open with player registrations early on Friday May 24, followed by games both in the morning and afternoon. The camp will conclude with a Sunday morning All-Star Game.
Players will report for Main Camp to begin the season on Monday August 19. Exhibition games and the BCHL League Schedule will be completed and released over the summer.
The Wild are preparing for their twelfth season here in the Wenatchee Valley, and fifth season in the BCHL.
