WENATCHEE WILD 2022-23 HOCKEY SCHEDULE RELEASED

The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the British Columbia Hockey League are pleased to announce the BCHL has released the Game Schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season. All teams will play a 54-game schedule including two at the BCHL Showcase event. That means 26 regular season games for Wenatchee in the Wolves Den. At this time, all restrictions related to testing and masks have been lifted, and the team is excited about returning back to normal.

Key promotional dates will be announced soon, as fans can expect the return of traditional favorites such as Hockey Fights Cancer, Guns N Hoses, and Military Appreciation Night among others.

The Wild will open the season on the road on Sept. 23 in Surrey against the Eagles. The first eight games of the year will be played on the road, with the Home Opener slated for Friday, October 21 against the West Kelowna Warriors.

Wild Head Coach Chris Clark says, “It is always an exciting time when the schedule gets released. It really ramps up the energy and turns the calendar for the upcoming season. We can’t wait to see the Wild faithful at the home opener on October 21st.”

Unlike last season, Wenatchee will face all 17 opponents this season. Victoria, Nanaimo, Coquitlam, and Chilliwack will all play games in Wenatchee for the first time in over two years.

Director of Sales and Marketing Gretchen Littler notes, “We are looking forward to a great year in the Wolves Den! We are looking to #RestoreTheRoar with all things WILD!  We have been busy preparing theme nights, off ice entertainment along with in game promotions.  Can’t wait to see everyone back on October 21st!”

The Wild will wrap up the season with a four game homestand with the final game set for March 25, 2023. Playoffs will begin the following weekend.
