The Wenatchee Wild, in conjunction with the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) have released their preseason schedule for the upcoming season. There will be six games in all, two of them in Wenatchee.
Players will report for Training Camp on Thursday Sept. 1. The Wild will host two preseason games in the Weinstein Beverage Rink against the Trail Smoke Eaters. The first game is scheduled for Friday Sept. 9 at 7:05 pm, and the second game on Saturday Sept. 10 at 4pm.
The following week, the Wild will embark on a 4-game trip through the Dakotas against three USHL squads. The games and dates are listed below:
Wed. Sept. 14 at Fargo Force – 5:15 pm PDT
Fri. Sept. 16 at Sioux Falls Stampede – 5 pm PDT
Sat. Sept. 17 at Sioux City Musketeers – 4pm PDT
Sun. Sept. 18 at Fargo Force – 4pm PDT
Wenatchee GM Bliss Littler said, “This is the most aggressive preseason schedule we have had in my time here. I’m excited to get the season started.”
Wild Head Coach and Assistant GM Chris Clark added, “Our staff is very excited about the upcoming exhibition schedule. It will be great to play in front of the Wild Faithful for the first two games. Then get to spend some quality time with just our group as we travel to play Fargo, Sioux Falls and Sioux City. These six games will give us great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season against four great teams.”
