(From the BCHL) – The BC Hockey League has announced details for the 2022 Showcase event, including dates, schedule and location. The Showcase is returning to the Chilliwack Coliseum and will take place over four days, from Monday, Oct. 17 to Thursday, Oct. 20. Each team will play two games, one home and one away, in front of NHL scouts and NCAA coaches.
The Wenatchee Wild Showcase schedule has them facing the Langley Rivermen on Monday Oct. 17 at 7:00 pm. Langley will be the designated “home” team in that contest. Wenatchee’s Showcase slate concludes at 7:00 pm on Tuesday Oct. 18 as they face the Chilliwack Chiefs. In that game, though it’s played in Chilliwack’s home rink, the Wild will be the designated home team.
Wild Head Coach Chris Clark spoke highly of the annual event. “The BCHL, member teams, and the Chiefs organization have all done a tremendous job for years hosting the Showcase. It’s a great opportunity for the players and we’re all looking forward to another great league event.”
