A/V Booth Graphics Position
This position is responsible for the development and execution of the in-arena experience efforts for the Wenatchee Wild. The primary role of this position is to assist in the creation of graphics for our LED ribbon signage as well as JumboTron graphics that would be on display during the game. This individual will work under the direction of the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as the Director of Game Operations to ensure that sponsorship obligations are met and executed on game nights. This is a part-time game-night position that will require attendance at all 26 Wild regular-season home games, plus possible playoffs – games are primarily held on Friday and Saturday nights.
Job Description
- Create Rink Ribbon Graphics to be displayed on our LED Ribbon Boards as directed
- Create Full Screen Graphics to be displayed on our JumboTron as directed. This includes 3-D graphics, sponsor graphics, bugs and overlays.
- Make sure all content including graphics and videos run properly and are loaded into the computers prior to each game.
- Uses our event presentation software to organize all game content for game nights based upon game scripts
- Run the JumboTron and Ribbon Boards at every Wenatchee Wild Home Game
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicant must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to attend all Wenatchee Wild home games including playoffs. Must also be present in all dress rehearsals and A/V staff meetings as needed
- Previous experience in production or live entertainment environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge and use of software such as Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Microsoft Office is required
- Knowledge and use of event presentation software such as MediaShout, ProPresenter, or equivalent programs
- Knowledge of Click Effects Crossfire and Click Effects Blaze systems as well as other A/V equipment such as soundboards, and video switcher
- Must have outstanding attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of hockey preferred but not required

Music Director
The Wenatchee Wild are looking to hire a part-time music director. This person’s main responsibility is to handle the in-arena music production and manage all of the audio at every home game. DJ experience or sound engineering experience is preferred but not required.
This is a part-time game-night position that will require attendance at all 26 Wild regular-season home games, plus possible playoffs – games are primarily held on Friday and Saturday nights.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to attend all Wenatchee Wild home games including playoffs. Must also be present at all dress rehearsals and A/V Staff Meetings as needed
- Must have reliable transportation

Public Address Announcer
Help bring energy to the game as the Public Announcer throughout the game. This includes announcing game component such as starting lineup, penalties, power plays, goals, and more. A knowledge of hockey is encouraged but not a must as you will be working with a team of individuals to make the correct announcements. In this position you will follow along with the director to present our sponsors throughout the night through things like PA Reads, commercials, and fan engagement moments.

Video Switcher
The switching position is in charge of monitoring eight camera angles to insure the best is displayed for the game on the jumbo tron and our broadcast on hockey tv. Aside from choosing the best angle for the game the switcher must communicate with the camera crew to successfully execute sponsor components like Dance cam and Kiss Cam.

Lighting Operator
The lighting operator is in charge of choreographing the lighting show throughout the night to keep the fans engaged along with the music director. You will be in charge of operating the entrance, in between periods, and media timeouts.
This is a part-time game-night position that will require attendance at all 26 Wild regular-season home games, plus possible playoffs – games are primarily held on Friday and Saturday nights.

Blimp Operator
During intermissions and media timeouts you will be tasked with flying over the crowd to deliver coupons from numerous sponsors.
This is a part-time game-night position that will require attendance at all 26 Wild regular-season home games, plus possible playoffs – games are primarily held on Friday and Saturday nights.

Jumbotron/Videoboard Operator
This position is tasked with following along the script to make sure game and sponsor elements are presented on the Wild videoboard at the correct time. While PA announcers read from the script you will need to insure the correct company graphic is presented. All commercials and promotional videos will be fired off by you once directed.

Game Day Operations Intern
Job Summary: We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic volunteer interns to assist the Wenatchee Wild with their game operations for the 2022-2023 season. This internship will provide those who desire a career in the sports and entertainment industry with an opportunity to learn the event management and business side of our hockey organization. Interns will gain valuable career experience as well as enjoying networking opportunities in the process. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a strong desire to work in sports as well as someone who has a “team first” mentality.
Essential Duties
- Assist with all in-game promotions
- Assist with guest services table
- Assist in setting up and tearing down on game days
- Help coordinate all on-ice promotions at intermissions during all home games
- Help with the distribution of giveaways to fans
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 14 years old
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Ability to attend all of our home games as well as any pre-game meetings and rehearsals (includes nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs, and on the ice surface
- Must be able to lift at least 20 Lbs.
- Must be able to follow a script and be alert at all times during games
Preferred Qualifications
- High school or college student who is seeking volunteer hours or internship credit
- Strong interest in sport management, business administration, event planning, event production, marketing or another related field
- Prior experience working or volunteering in sports or live events
