The Wenatchee Wild, proud members of the British Columbia Hockey League, in conjunction with the BCHL have released their official Game Schedule for the 2017-18 hockey season. The full schedule is available on the team’s official website. Link:

The Wild schedule has a different look this season as the team has moved to the Interior Division, away from the Mainland Division where the Wild claimed the Regular Season Championship last season with a BCHL-best record and all-time franchise high of 45-9-4. The move to the Interior means Wenatchee will face each new division rival six times, and every other team in the league twice, plus two Showcase games. In all, Wenatchee will again play 28 games at home this year. 25 of the 28 will be on Fridays and Saturdays, with three remaining games on Wednesday nights. All games will start at 7:05 pm, except the Wednesday games which will begin at 6:30 pm.

The Wild will kick off their season in Merritt on Sept.9, and will play their Home Opener at Town Toyota Center against the Vernon Vipers on Saturday September 16. Some highlights of the season will include the defending Fred Page Cup Champion Penticton Vees making their first of three visits on Oct. 21, then “Pink At The Rink” on Oct. 28 vs. Alberni Valley. Chilliwack makes their lone visit this year Thanksgiving weekend on “Black Friday”. Our annual “Teddy Bear Toss” is slated for Dec. 16 against Salmon Arm, and “Guns N Hoses Night” will be Jan. 27 vs. the Merritt Centennials.

Season ticket packages are on sale now at the Wild office by calling 509-888-7825. Single game tickets and group packages will be available later this summer. Plans are also underway for multiple fan bus trips this season and will be announced soon.
