Beginning Monday, February 7, Senior Sales and Operations Coordinator David Rayfield will camp out on the balcony outside the Town Toyota Center until he sells 750 tickets to the Wenatchee Wild Military Appreciation Game on Friday, Feb. 18 against the Vernon Vipers. All tickets are priced at $15 in the Wild Zone. $5 of each ticket this year will go towards Don West and his battle with cancer. Helping Don in this time of need was offered by Veterans Hall and the Thomas A. Biddle Foundation.
Rayfield sold 500 tickets in this manner two years ago, and this year has bumped his goal up to 750. He will be allowed 1 hour per day to come in for a hot shower, but other than that, he’ll brave the elements for a tremendous cause. Representatives from The Bunker, Veterans Hall, and the Thomas A. Biddle Foundation recognize that Don West has done much in the Valley to support our veterans, and they feel strongly about being able to assist as he battles brain lymphoma.
Many donors choose to purchase tickets for the event and then donate them to local veterans and their familes so they may attend the game. Get YOUR tickets by calling David at the rink (509-888-7825) or purchasing online at wenatcheewildhockey.com
