Kids Day 2022

The Wenatchee Wild Hockey team is excited to host the annual Kid Day event on September 7th at the Town Toyota Center.

The first 400 youth through the door will receive a free t-shirt and have first access to the new Gesa Kid zone, said the Operation Coordinator David Rayfield.

The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and will go to 7:30 p.m. Kids Day will be the community’s first opportunity to meet the new team and view the Wild’s first light show, said Director of Sales and Marketing. Gretchen Littler. The newly updated Gesa Kid Zone will include a bouncy house, pop-a-shot, and connect four. The Wild will also have an x-box stationed where fans can play as a Wild Hockey player, Rayfield said.

During the 2021-2022 season, the Wild staff started to prepare for the 15th season. “After researching other teams and leagues, we saw a large opportunity to enhance the game night experience for the younger audience,” he said.

For this event, the Wild has partnered with local businesses and sponsors. The organizations will set up free activities for the youth to enjoy, Rayfield said. At this year’s event they have the support from Ag Supply, Weinstein, Epoch, and many more, he said.
