The Wenatchee Wild began play in the 2008-09 season. As we celebrate our tenth year in the Wenatchee Valley, we will periodically check in with a player from that inaugural season. Today, we hear from Evan Mosey, who sends the following message to Wild Nation:
“Hey, Wenatchee Wild fans! Congrats on celebrating your tenth anniversary! Just wanted to give you a quick rundown of what I’ve been up to these last 10 years. After I left Wenatchee, I was lucky enough to play 4 years of hockey at Minnesota State University, where I graduated with a sports management degree. After college, I went over to Europe to play hockey in Belgium. That’s where I met my girlfriend who I’m still with today. After Belgium, I moved to England where I played for the Nottingham Panthers. We won some championships which is always nice. After two seasons there, I was lucky enough to move back to the US and play in the AHL with the Rockford Ice Hogs. Now I’m back in Nottingham, England with the Panthers gearing up for another season. I definitely miss Wenatchee and all the great fans! I can honestly say the first year of the Wild franchise was one of the best times I’ve had playing hockey. Hope the season goes great! Wishing all the boys best of luck this year.”
